In this oil painting, I sought to capture the mesmerizing interplay of light and water. Guided by the techniques of expressionism and impressionism, I explored the depth and translucence of the ocean, an emblem of the vast, unexplored layers of human emotion and consciousness. The surface tension of realism and fine art converge to evoke a serene yet potent sense of submersion. This piece invites the viewer to dive into their own depths, illuminating the quiet beauty that lies beneath the chaos of daily life.

To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to impressionistic impasto.

This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
