This large mixed media artwork takes my landscape painting a step further into abstraction.
It describes the seafront in the beautiful seaside town that sits on the banks of the Dee estuary. A long promenade lies the length of the marine lake. My painting describes this landscape. The lake is encapsulated with its stony walls against the promenade and curved sea wall, which when a high tide, the sea washes over. It also represents the big stones and boulders that are stacked beside the lakes slipway and the summer visitors on hot summer days that walk around the lake walls with ice creams.
The artwork has lots of texture and painted white sides so no need for framing. It has been signed on the side and the back. It is fitted with chord so is ready to hang.
