Artwork description:

As an abstraction of a sea squirt, this piece explores the interconnection of six tubes and the lines where they meet. Some of the lines underneath the sculpture resemble the crease lines of a bent arm or leg. One challenge of this piece was to disrupt the regular pattern of repeating tubular forms. Casting this piece in hollow glass gives it a ghost-like structure revealing the interior shape in a similar way to translucent sea creatures.
