Contemporary painting with flowing long abstract brushstrokes and heavy texture in shades of navy, blue, silver, white, cream, and gold colors.
I created an abstract landscape painting that representing shapes the patterns of sea shells with colorful geological layers and amazing stone formations.

The vibrancy of colors of Gulf Coast nature forms an endless source of inspiration for my work. Inspired by the ocean's teals, gray, and blues, I created this abstract ocean's cape, an interpretation of splashing waves with seafoam.

I was inspired to create the painting by shelling on Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Here, the sand is powdery soft and white… that is, if you can see it. Many secluded and even not-so-secluded shorelines are covered in shells.

Working with color, line and texture, I painted a singular interpretation of my connection with nature. Original and modern feel and a really nice texture.


This is an original abstract vertical or horizontal contemporary painting presented on a gallery wrapped canvas.
Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch thick wooden frame.
Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used.
The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
The edges of the canvas are painted and it is ready to hang.
