Contemporary painting with flowing textured abstract brushstrokes and heavy texture in shades of gray, silver, white, cream, turquoise, teal, blue, aqua, gold, and bronze neutral colors.
I created an abstract landscape painting that representing shapes the patterns of fossilized sea shells with colorful geological layers and amazing stone formations. Fossils are really interesting things, we can learn so much from them, and they are So Beautiful!

I was inspired to create the painting by shelling on Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Many secluded and even not-so-secluded shorelines are covered in shells and different shapes and colors of stones and fossilized corals.

Working with color, line and texture, I painted a singular interpretation of my connection with nature. Original and modern feel and a really nice texture.

This is an original abstract contemporary painting presented on a gallery wrapped canvas.
Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch thick wooden frame.
Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used.
The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
