Artwork description:
Inspired by memories of the Sussex coast close to where I live and using my knowledge of etching techniques I made Sea breeze intuitively. This is an etching made on a zinc plate using the sugar lift aquatint method. Big blustery clouds and light on the ocean create a calm and moody atmosphere. Printed under my etching press on 300grm somerset etching paper.
Materials used:
Zinc ething plate, acid, wax, aquatint resin, printing inks, etching paper, etching press.
