This was an exercise in quick sketching with ink for me, and it was great fun! I ended up with a scruffy, wild looking 'bug eyed' hare that looks like he's been through the wars a bit, but I think that gives the image an endearing character.
Illustrated in Indian Ink using Hiro Nib and dipping ink with brushes for adding ink wash, and of course the all important white gouache for highlights and fine detail.
This picture is presented in a black brushed satin finish wooden frame with a 4cm cream studio mount.
