Original artwork description:
One of the intentions of my work is to provide solace both for myself as I paint and as an object, embued with a power to bring comfort to a space. I avoid harsh, geometric lines in my work because I am not looking to stimulate with a jolt, or awaken a sharp energy. I like to offer work which is soft and soothing and I hope that's what I have achieved here with the soft plumes of cloud and earthy, natural ground.
