Recently I have tried out new ways of expressing emotions and feelings with different mediums. Here I started to play around with watercolors and ink on canvas, enjoying the watery lightness of it and was completely absorbed in the structures that emerge from water.
"Scottish Mist" can be seen as just a landscape with rain clouds and sea and some small isles on a lovely nordic summer day, but can also be understood as emotions and feelings of sadness but also a lot of hope, dawn, lightness, airyness...
In this painting the emphasis lies on the light, because of some silver pigments it sparkles when hit by direct light - where there is light, there is always hope!

30x30x2 cm on gallery wrapped canvas. Signed on the back. Ready to hang. Sides painted white.

Attention: the colors on the photo with the silver frame example are darker than in reality. the painting is blue and pink and silvery white. The colors can be seen best on the fully unframed photo.
