Gloss Varnished

This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting on canvas. I was inspired to capture the scenery of The Quiraing Skye on my canvas. Located in the northern Trotternish Peninsula and is famous for its long, dramatic mountain ridge which was created by a massive landslip.

Using various textures and brush techniques I wanted to bring this breathtaking scenery with views of the towering cliffs, the rock formations, many inland lochs and the Sound of Raasay (the ocean) to life by focusing on its majesty and peaceful atmosphere.

I the highest-grade archival materials in creating this artwork to ensure that this painting is ready to withstand the ages. All of my Originals come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, it is wired in the back on the stretcher bars and ready to hang.
