Original artwork description:
We visited the West Coast of Scotland in 2021 taking in many of the breath taking beaches along the way. Sanna and Achmelvich are two of our favourites and this painting is a response to these and others around the Ardnamurchan peninsular and further north.
The painting is in acrylic and ink and i have tried to give a feeling for the tranquility and clarity of the place. Crystal clear water (freezing cold!) and white sand. Grasses and wild flowers catching the breeze and on the far horizon mountains rising from nearby islands.
The painting is on a canvas and is ready to hang. If you want it supplied in a floating frame I can quote for this as an addition.
