On a drive from Edinburgh and through the Scottish Borders to Moffat, I came across this majestic group of Scots Pine trees. They seem perfect for the Borders landscape. Scots Pine tress have such individuality. They are trees that have form, but also space. One senses the history of their growth, determined by the ravages of nature, especially the wind. In the distance are purple heather covered hills, typical of the area. I am looking forward to returning to this spot.
Framed and ready to hang on the wall.
