Original artwork description:

Scotney Castle in Kent was built around 1380 and is set in beautiful gardens.
The romantic ruined medieval castle sits on its own moated island and when I visited I was drawn to the reflections of the ruins in the lake.
I have tried to capture a mystical, fairytale effect using watercolour, ink and small areas of image transfer from one of my original photographs onto watercolour paper.
The painting is sold mounted and framed with a white wooden frame and is ready to hang.
