Science of the lambs was painted for a religious art competition and is inspired by the cloning of the first mammal Dolly the sheep by scientists at the Roslin Institute in 1996.
My painting on box canvas shows a scientist as a shepherd and in the background a biotech company.
Lambs are mentioned in the bible over 500 times and I wanted to offer something with my atheist view. Unfortunately the work wasn't selected for exhibition ! ?
