A red, white and blue version of the American flag for "The Wisdom of Winter" series - most of these paintings are soft, subtle shades of neutrals, with special emphasis on composition, line and color. All are 24" x 18" inches (60.96 cm x 45.72 cm) and are acrylics on sturdy, 140# watercolor paper that has been primed with top quality, thick & creamy gesso.

Each painting is 100% original and made by me with quality materials including Golden, Liquitex and Windsor-Newton acrylic paints; conte pencils; charcoal; graphite; gesso; and gel mediums. Each painting is finished with an additional 2 coats of protective UV varnish in a satin finish. The paper I use is a quality 140# watercolor paper from France.

The style of this painting is called "Abstract Expressive" and can be hung vertically or horizontally which gives you much more flexibility in your decorating options. I've signed this painting on the back so you can choose the orientation you like best without being restricted by my signature.
