This acrylic impression represents the annual flowers of heather in summer; when the bloom, scent and colours are in their prime. It really brings the field or heath to life and is best described in Thomas Hardy’s novels
ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE - This piece is sold as a loose canvas only, and is not ready to hang. It will be delivered rolled in a heavy-duty parcel tube. Painted on 100% cotton canvas, which will come off of the temporary stretcher frame and be dispatched. So once received it should be mounted on another suitable stretcher frame, and then hung with or without a decorative main frame.
It is signed and dated at the back, varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity provided. The overall size of the canvas is 135×95cm and the painting size is 115 ×76cm. It can be hung in either way, once back on a stretcher frame.
