Original artwork description:

One of a series of works with my lovely Russian muse where we were evoking the mood of a club, the sort of dark and ambiguous space where people go looking for love. The young woman is dressed to attract attention in her cheap red wig and a shiny dress. The excitement here is being erotic while fully clothed, it's the implication of the pose: that dress is coming off. Soon.

We had a lot of fun doing these. The painting is from the photographs we made. She lives in Moscow so it's hard to get her to pose for paintings as they take so long...
