I like doing 16x12''oil sketches, either before a big painting (to get into the mood) or after a big painting (to use up the paint on my palette). Sometimes these turn out quite well, like this one which I painted on Scarborough beach.

To save on costs, I'll selling it unframed. It will, of course, look even better in a good frame.
