Painted from North Beach looking towards the castle . I was attracted by the slight reflection of the castle in the wet sand.
It's 24x20'' oil on canvas.
I am a plein-air painter - I paint outside, directly in front of the subject. This, I think, gives my work a vibrancy and life sadly lacking in much of studio painting.
The painting is unframed but painted round the edge and D-rings and chord are attached so it is ready to hang.
