"Scarab" is a work done in oil technique on a cotton backing. The starting point for this work is nature, the visible outside world. The female body, not expressed directly, creates a picture full of understatements, dissonance, provoking new meanings with the next layer. The assumption was not to illustrate reality, but a specific climate, mental state, a gap in time in which material meets what is immaterial. The unreal palette of colors limited to gray in shades of deep blue, allows you to focus on the light and the visual game it leads.
The artist's monogram is on the reverse. Single copy. The whole is protected with high-quality resin varnish, which gives a beautiful gloss.
