Oil and cold wax medium on canvas, the painting is quite textural and has a subtle satin finish to it.
This painting is inspired by living inside a scaffold, complete with greenish safety netting. The scaffold was up for a good two weeks before the builders even appeared, so the experience went on for some time. I have always been fascinated by scaffolds, especially with netting and when they are lit up from inside, so living inside my own scaffold was just the best.
