Inspired by those calming and soothing final moments of the day, when your body is tired from skiing (in a good way!) and you’re savouring the last sunbeams of light on the clouds. Based on Nendaz, near Verbier in the 4 Valleys in the Swiss Alps.

The Colour Splash collection brings dollops of intense colour into your home, introducing a calm and peacefulness for everyone in your home to enjoy. Using combinations of colours in ways I haven’t used before, the sun shimmers across the landscape, creating dancing shadows, diamonds in the snow and spectacular skies. The layers of colour and texture contrast the sun’s warmth against cold landscapes, transporting you to these magnificent mountains.

The paintings in the Colour Splash collection are painted from scenes I’ve sketched and photographed whilst training and ski racing as a guide for my blind husband as we represent Great Britain on the international race circuit (@luetchfordskiracers).
