Original artwork description:

“River's Journey” is an original oil painting from my series of contemporary abstract landscapes. This series is inspired by the natural world, the contours of the land and hills, the sky’s atmosphere and cloud formations, the flow of the sea and rivers. These shapes and forms are abstracted to their energetic essence and combined with the vibrant colors that I love so much.

This painting has a modern minimal aesthetic and was inspired by the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest. It captures the warm earthy tones glowing in rich gold, amber and reddish brown against the vibrant blues of the river weaving its way through the landscape.

Painted on a 1.25” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white it comes ready to hang and signed on the front. It is finished with a layer of protective varnish giving the surface a smooth satin finish.
