Let me tell you about this incredible piece that came to life from a mesmerizing photograph by the talented artist, Richard Douglas. When I saw that photo, I was completely captivated by its sheer beauty. So, I decided to reach out to Richard and asked him if I could work my magic with watercolors to interpret his masterpiece. He graciously gave me the green light, and that's when the excitement kicked in for my biggest and boldest artwork ever!⁠

I have to admit, as the days went by, I had my moments of hesitation. I kept going in and out of the studio, feeling a mix of excitement and jitters. But you know what changed everything? One day, I just said to myself, "Okay, let's do this!" And that was the turning point. From that moment on, the paper transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, an explosion of pigments that I carefully crafted to capture the very essence of that original photograph.⁠

"Saturation" truly captures that special moment in a way that only watercolors can. Every brushstroke exudes a vibrant energy, a symphony of colors that dance together to paint a vivid and emotionally charged story. I played with soft, ethereal pastels and bold, intense shades to bring out the drama and magic of watercolors. I think the name "Saturation" perfectly captures the rich and intense emotions that flow from this painting.
