Original expressive acrylic painting of a slightly anthropomorphic Sassy but coy looking hare, taking a long glance over her rather human looking shoulders - painted as part of a series of Hares in September 2016.

Hares are a favourite subject matter of mine that I have depicted here with acrylic paints using a variety of brush marks which express the vigour with which I painted it. My intention is to develop my depiction of Hares in an expressive and illustrative way and to produce artwork that reveals the character, real or imagined, of the subject and to entertain and inspire the viewer with the results.
