Original artwork description:

Sarks is the series of large format oil paintings (most of them are around 2 meters height). They depict expressive nature of flash and body. In this series, I look for similarities in all leaving creatures. I try to compare emotions connected to the spiritual human nature (soma) and the flash of material being (sarks).
This collection is highly influenced by meat motives in art history. It takes it’s beginning in baroque Vanitas motive, and Rembrandt’s Slaughtered Ox.
