This mixed media artwork is 28 x 36 cm with additional borders. It is currently not framed. It has been fixed and varnished, ready for framing.

This portrait was heavily inspired by John Singer Sargent’s portrait of Mrs. Charles E. Inches (Louise Pomeroy) (1887). I wanted to create a portrait in the similar style but instead of using oil paints, I created this piece using bold markings of charcoal and pastels. The background was made up of thin layers of acrylics.
