Original artwork description:

A palette knife sketch in oils of a bit of Sardinian landscape, close to Cagliari. Sketches were made on location during a recent trip to Sardinia and this painting was made later in the studio. The paint is applied generously in a free flowing style, colours mix naturally together in the process of mark-making to create a homogenous scene that captures the freshness of a fine Spring day.
