Sarasota Bikes is a large very colorful urban landscape painting on stretched canvas. This is a city scene in Sarasota, Florida where I fell in love with the image of the bicycles sloppily parked in the bike racks on a busy street downtown. Here I used vibrant colors of purple, red, yellow, green and blue offset by a few patches of neutral gray.
The artwork measures 48 x 72 x 1.5 inches and is made up, of 2 individual 48 x 36" canvases hung side by side. It is unframed with the image painted all the way around the edges, has all the needed hardware attached and is ready to hang on the wall.
