Original artwork description:

This collage was inspired by a trip to Santa Fe and its sun washed desert. Trying to capture the heat rising from the desert and the vitality of the scene I made 2 similar pictures; cut one in vertical strips, the other horizontal; then wove the strips together. From that woven picture I again got 2 separate collages by cutting it apart at the it's joints. I lifted off the top layer, attached it to a backing and thus made Santa Fe I. The same treatment for the bottom layer made Santa Fe II. I'm selling the two together for $800 each or $1000 for a single picture.
