Original artwork description:

Sand Harbor is a popular Lake Tahoe site for swimming, boating & seasonal open-air entertainment with mountain views.

This painting was inspired by the beautiful colors of the water in the shallow part of the rocky beach, the multiple shades of blue, purple and green on the rocks, and the mystery of a staircase winding between the boulders.

Materials used to create this work:
Oil on oil primed Claessens Belgian linen canvas on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, finished with melamine backing that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

Painting is unframed and requires a frame to hang. It will easily fit in a standard (USA) 12"x16" frame.
