This photograph is of some very colourful beach hut doors in an otherwise very monochromatic landscape scene - it makes a very impactful image where the colours pop and creates a very graphic and minimalist scene. The white cliffs and concrete structure gives the rest of the image a nice high-key look. It's from Saltdean beach near Brighton, West Sussex in the UK.
I love discovering new places, both far afield and closer to home. This is a place I will definitely come back to again soon. It's lovely for a little stroll and a visit to a café or having an ice cream, also brilliant for a picnic on the pebbly beach. The big bonus was of course that I also found some interesting motifs, and captured some new photographs that I can add to my library of art prints.
