Artwork description:

This linocut print shows a view of Saltburn’s Bandstand – installed in 1995 when a local Community Charity Group - the Saltburn 500 club and the Arts Council of England raised funds to bring a bandstand back to Saltburn (a small town on the NE coast of England). It's a limited edition with a couple of colourways - version 1 has a brown/green tree and version 2 has a blue/green tree.

It is an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image. These linocut prints are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.

All of my prints are flat packed if delivered within the UK, and will be sent packaged in tissue and a tube if delivered outside of the UK.

Zerkall extra smooth printing paper, 145gsm. Lawrence linseed oil ink.
