"Salt Marshes" is a small Norfolk coastal landscape by Mary Kemp.
On a hot sultry day the air settles heavily over the marshes and the afternoon feels endless.
To paint this I used thick oil paint on a wooden board.
I've left it unframed but it will slip seamlessly into a 5" x 7" (12.5 x 17.5 cm) photo frame. Or you could just prop it up on a shelf in a contemporary sort of way!
