Original artwork description:
Earlier in my career, Interior Scenes comprised a great percentage of my "Oeuvre". Having been away from this subject for awhile, I adored throwing myself back into this Arena! Again, it's clear the scene is set on my beloved Cote D'Azur, notated by the Colorful houses viewed by the open window. The frivolity of the still swinging Birdcage, implies that the little Bird has escaped only seconds ago. The accents of Black in the painting offset the intense mix of colors, giving it balance. The original painting is finished around the edges, so that you could hang it unframed if preferred.
