A big, expressive semi-abstract blue landscape - while having been in self-isolation because of Covid19 I was dreaming more and more often of sailing away from it all...
here you can find lovely pastel shades of blues with lots of markmaking, watertraces and traces of the painting process. Some expressive graphite drawing adds to the dynamics of the painting. The half painted frame plays with the effect that framing has but can also be seen as a virtual window: we can see it but not reach it at the moment, but we can dream.

Gouache/Acrylics/Mixed Media on 80x80 cm gallery wrapped canvas, unframed, sides painted dark blue with traces of painting process, no framing needed, hook on the back. Signed and dated on front and back.

If you want to frame the painting it would love a white floating frame.
