An attractive miniature abstract. Sun and sail all in a sardine can.
This is a striking picture with an impact disproportionate to its size.
In a small space I have attempted to incorporate the complete world of occasional leisure sailing. Everything somewhat familiar, but needing a fresh look each time. All sorts of media all with a slightly salty dampness. Lots of half understood instructions, fish and chips ropes and diesel. Like your memory of a holiday, tuck it away in a treasured place and remember it with delight when you bump into it unexpectedly. Or give it to a special person after a special trip.
Mixed-media on heavy paper (15x10)cm. Mounted in passepartout BLACK-Compound (24x30)(12x17).
