I’ve always thought sailing to be more of a dance with the ocean. This painting captures the collaboration with the changing, undulating movement of the waves. Light and forms are blurred in the background.
Painted initially with poured layers of earthtones and gold acrylic, and completed with fleeting brushstrokes of blues. There is a surface texture from the poured paint as seen in photos.
