Original artwork description:

I am a sunset fan. I love being where I can see water and open sky. Balconies at the end of the day in a tropical spot offer idyllic viewing. This painting was from a wonderful trip to Baja. I used the woven technique to try to capture the action of the changing light on the water. The movement of the sailboats made the surface of the water choppy. The sun is the "star" of the sunset . The two moons represent the magical quality of the transition to night.
The painting is a woven watercolor made from two pictures of the same scene; one was cut up horizontally and the other vertically. Then they were woven together.
