Saigon Cao Dai Temple
100% original hand-painted one-of-a-kind watercolor artwork by Tanbelia.
'Saigon Cao Dai Temple'
The temple is a place of worship for followers of the Cao Dai religion. The religion was founded by Ngo Minh Chieu in the early 20th century. The Cao Dai religion combines elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity, and it has gained a significant following in Vietnam. The temple is a symbol of religious diversity and tolerance in Vietnam, as it welcomes people of different faiths to observe its ceremonies. Caodaism teaches that, throughout human history, God the Father has revealed his truth many times through the mouths of many prophets, but these messages were always either ignored or forgotten due to humanity's susceptibility to secular desires. In Cao Dai, God is represented as an eye in a triangle, a symbol that appears on the facades of the temples.
