The unique and elegant shapes of Saguaro cactuses in Arizona deserts always inspire me to create compositions. Their unusual shapes are grouped together to create a unique sense of desert beauty unlike anywhere else. For southwestern desert landscapes, saguaro cactuses are a symbol. I used thick textured brushstrokes and bright, saturated colors to indicate the warm rightness of the deserts.
The artwork is on oil-primed gallery-wrapped canvas. It has a wire for display even with no frame.
