I found the reference image for this painting on Google + and instantly fell in love with it. I contacted the photographer and asked if I could paint his image, he willingly agreed. This portrait is of the Native American actor, Saginaw Grant. Lines of wisdom carved into his face. To sit and to listen, to hear more than words.
