Original artwork description:

I saw this view from the alley, and loved the lines. The owner of the house had turned it into an antique furniture store, approachable from the front, which is on Central Avenue. In time I was able to go inside and stand in this room which I have depicted from the outside. It was filled with pictures and furniture and it was a magical moment of completion for me. The original color of the building is gray, but I have always been drawn to sage green, which I put in the title. I also added the palm tree to soften the lines. The sky is the palest shade of blue gray. The frame matches the shadows on the roof and the dark windows. Notice the little bit of red at the bottom right window - just a touch for contrast.

This painting has the same precision which is typical of my work. It is a companion piece of "Azure Avenue".
