The fish are very happy to hang around this jetty - no fishing!!.
I have made this collage on vintage French white linen. The jetty and the "No Fishing" sign are made from an old grain sack. I have used some blue lace and ribbon details to create the feeling of water under the jetty. I printed all the fish onto fabrics such as velvet, denim and cotton using lino cut. The buoys hanging off the jetty came from a crocheted table cloth. Each detail has been stiched on individually using free embroidery on my sewing machine. The collage is backed with a heavy cream cotton fabric and it needs framing.
I have embroidered the collage title and my signature on the front of the collage.
