Artwork description:

In the summer, my husband and I took two of our grandchildren on holiday, the weather was blustery and wet, proper English summer! We came around a corner and spotted a lighthouse - perched like a sanctuary among the rocks and the waves, it looked so strong and safe. The image lodged itself in my mind and I hugged it to my heart until we got home, when it launched itself first into my sketchbook and then onto the lino, a wonderful memory .

Materials used:

multiple lino plates, oil based inks.
