Artwork description:

The British Saddleback pig is an endangered breed, listed on the watchlist of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust as at risk, the second-highest level of concern. It is large and deep in the bodied pig with a white saddle, sheet or band round the withers, shoulders and front legs. Its coat is fine, straight and silky and it is a good forager.

This multi-plate etching depicts a sow with three of her piglets enjoying life in verdant pasture.

This print is made on three copper plates using acid to etch the drawing into the plates. The print is rich in colour as a result of the process of overprinting. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, an off-white heavyweight 300 gsm handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is in a very small limited edition of 6 and is signed and numbered by the artist. The image size is 15 x 20 cm on a paper size is 25 x 30 cm.

The print is carefully packed and shipped in a sturdy postal tube. Please note that shipping to the US takes approximately 10 -15 days.

This print is unframed. Interior images may not be to scale and are for illustrative purposes only.
