The Canadian flower class Corvette is seen here exiting the harbor through the swept channel with permission from the starboard side green gate vessel. Submarine nets are covering the entrance as seen buoyed in the foreground. This wartime painting has been created to honor the Officers and men who sailed on the corvettes and today the Sackville is a floating museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
This painting has been created using only professional grade acrylics on a flat sheet of acrylic paper with a canvas pressed surface and has been given a coat of art varnish for surface protection and archival quality.
