S. Catarina from Egypt is part of a collection of works dedicated to Sacred Art and egg yolk painting techniques on gilded board with gold foil. This technique, of Byzantine Art, was developed in Italy in the 12th century, and evolved over several centuries, offering its highest splendor especially in the 15th-16th centuries. To revalue this technique is a tribute to the history of Art and to the artists who have offered their dedication and their genius, leaving a real treasure as an inheritance to future generations.

All my works need many hours of work, because the luminosity is achieved with a technique of overlaying several layers of paint to glaze. The materials are of a very high quality. The works are sent with a Certificate of Authenticity. Our shipments can be in cardboard boxes reinforced with Lastrocel on the sides and sheets to protect the front and back, or in a tube when shipments are international, also when one of the dimensions exceeds 120 cm. and when the work is not framed. The shipping prices are adjusted to the size of the work and the destination address. The prices shown in the "Shipping" window are approximate. However, the exact amount will be told when the customer contacts us. Our shipping agencies are: DHL, UPS or FEDEX depending on the destination.
