A drawing in compressed charcoal on cartridge paper from the life-drawing sessions I attend.

The drawing is on a sheet of smooth white cartridge paper measuring 8.5 x 11.75 inches.

Compressed charcoal is very black and very messy, and the smudges are part and parcel of the whole drawing.
