Per the new Palette and Images trending for 2023, I jumped in with both feet with what I imagined originally would have a more “Botanical” feel, than straight up “Floral”. Ah well; Me and Flowers; we go together like peas and Carrots, I suppose. This piece was challenging since as I set out, I wasn’t sure where I was headed. But the organic building of this painting but by bit, turned out to be quite edifying. The canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed, if preferred.
